Description

Traditional cabin nestled on a wooded hillside at the west end of town just eight miles from the best snow in Idaho at Brundage Mtn. Resort and less than two miles to the Bear Basin, Nordic trailhead. Payette Lake access and downtown McCall is within a five minutes drive. Relax on the north facing deck and breathe in the fragrance of the forest. You’ll witness an abundance of wildlife from your private, tree top perch with an unobstructed view right down to the forest floor.

Updated perks including a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, Internet and satellite tv. There is dining room access to the large deck and covered promenade where you’ll find a gas grill, outdoor furnishings and enough deck space for everyone to mingle or find a private spot to settle in for a good read in a natural, wooded setting.

Large enough to accommodate 6 or 7 Lumberjacks in two private rooms with queen beds, a sleeping loft that has a Full bed, a twin bed (with slide out twin trundle) and two, full size bathrooms.   A large great room (with Queen hide-a-bed) and comfy seating for everyone to enjoy the view – an expanse of evergreens – with a wood burning stove to warm you on chilly alpine mornings and during the winter months.  

This home is perched on a hillside off of a quiet, unimproved dirt road. We recommend four-wheel or all wheel drive during the winter months. PLEASE NOTE: THE DRIVEWAY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PARKING A SNOWMOBILE OR BOAT TRAILER. There is road level "pullout" for parking a trailer which is on a first come first served basis.
 
This home has a two night minimum stay.
Some date ranges require a 3 or 4 night stay.

Features

Your worry free, DoneRight Management Vacation Rental is equipped with linens, bath towels and essentials that include guest soaps, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer as well as Kitchen essentials and towels. To start your vacation off right, we’ve provided a days worth of supplies including your morning coffee, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags.  Also provided where required is propane for gas grills, and enough wood for fireplace use during your stay. For properties with a fire pit, you can purchase wood at several local stores. Our little guests are important too, most homes include a pack n’play, high chair, booster seat and baby gate. 

Make yourself at home but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space.

Someone sent a reminder about putting the garbage out. Our garbage can was covered in snow and frozen shut/frozen to the ground. The person offered to come out and remove our trash for us. Very nice of them to offer to help.

Everything was great other than what I stated above. I would just add in the property description that during winter months entery ways are not maintained so customers don't feel mislead by certain amenities they can't enjoy. The porch on the lumberjack cabin is such a huge selling point. Enjoying the sights of the forest floor with your morning cup of coffee just isn't the same when the only access point is the view of your neighbors yard lol

All of our properties have 24 hour check-in via keyless entry or lock box. Upon confirmation of booking and return of signed, rental agreement your guest access codes will be sent to you via email one week prior to arrival.
